Download the Key Pair

Access the key of your source file, database, and backups. Keep it a safe place and do not share it with anyone who is not authorized for it.

It is highly recommended to keep this .pem file safe. Further, this is required for many reasons like instance access and for SSL if needed. -Enter a name for the key pair

-Click the "Create" button

-Download the key pair file (.pem file)

-Click the "Launch Instances" button

Now, you are set with your configured instance. You will now be taken to the EC2 dashboard with your Ubuntu instance running. Sometimes you have to wait until the instance status updates to “running” status.
