Configure Instance Details

Within a single AMI, it is possible to create up to 20 instances. Depending on the player base you can define your number of instances to balance the load and performance. As of now, you can start with a single instance keeping certain important configurations as described below and keeping the rest as default.

Quick Note:

-For users up to 10,000 you can keep a single instance with high configurations.

-For users more than 10,000, it is recommended to keep 4 instances separately for a game server, API, admin panel & database, and maintenance.

-If you are planning to set connections based on Static IP then you have to disable the Auto-assign Public IP setting to configure the EIP (Elastic IP) later.

-Define shutdown behaviors as Stop otherwise AWS will delete your instance in case you accidentally shut down your instance.

-Under tenancy, you can choose either shared or dedicated depending on your choice. We recommend choosing "dedicated" which gives more freedom and security.
